Jacob started his career at Qzzr where he was mentored into Product Management, helped keep Gawker up while the world voted on What Color Is This Goddamn Dress?, and developed a love of design. (2014-2016)
Next was Divvy, where he asked the questions, "What is an expense report?" and "Could you get rid of them?" He went on to craft the original spend-management product, lead and build the pre-Series C Product org, transition the org to a more-tenured VP of Product by leading Product Operations, and then direct the core Divvy teams after the $2.5B BILL acquisition. (2016-2022)
At Jasper, Jacob scaled and led the core product and UX teams to build help Marketers write consistently, and on-brand with AI across the internet. He personally PM’d some core Jasper features including the launch of Jasper Chat which was adopted by over 60% of users within the first week and remained the top AI skill in the tool. (2022-2023)
Jacob then got a dog, moved to SF, and started working at Apple where he's been helping the Photos team manage and coordinate the planning and execution of software and hardware experiences using modern AI technologies. (2024-Current)
